It was a pleasure to host the DecarboniseSY Tech Games at the London offices of Mishcon de Reya LLP in June, where a broad range of key stakeholders from across the UK’s Net Zero ecosystem, including startups, corporates and investors, met for an afternoon of presentations, discussions and networking.
As the concluding event of the DecarboniseSY Accelerator Programme run in partnership with Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, the afternoon included:
- Showcase pitches from 11 founders behind the world’s most disruptive nether and decarbonisation technologies
- A reverse-pitch presentation from Geovation on their decarbonisation strategy and the place of disruptive #climatetech within it
- A fascinating panel discussion on ‘Investing and Scaling Up the Next Generation of Net Zero Technologies’ with representatives from Octopus Ventures, Holocene IMpact Capital and Green Angel Syndicate.
